A) Identification of Components

  • Synthetic rubber product.
  • Surface coated in lubricant / release agent.
  • Stainless steel bands.

B) Composition

  • Couplings assembled from a wide range of components.
  • Synthetic rubber products based on generally accepted compounding principles.
  • Lubricant/release agent typically composed of >35% silicone ww, Water >50% ww, Surfactants <5% ww.

C) Hazards Identification

  • None Hazardous.
  • Slight irritation may occur through continuous prolonged contact with lubricant or rubber.

D) First Aid Measures

  • Skin contact: Wash with soap and water.
  • Eye contact: Irrigate with water.
  • Seek medical advice if persists.

E) Fire Hazards

  • Not highly flammable.

F) Accidental Release Measures

  • N/A

G) Handling and Storage (normal use)

  • When coated with silicone avoid contact with eyes.
  • Store rubber products away from direct sunlight, strong artificial light, radiation and ozone.
