  • Lubricant/release agent typically composed of >35% silicone ww, Water >50% ww, Surfactants <5% ww.

  • None Hazardous.
  • Slight irritation may occur through continuous prolonged contact with lubricant or rubber.

D) First Aid Measures

  • Skin contact: Wash with soap and water.
  • Eye contact: Irrigate with water.
  • Seek medical advice if persists.

  • Not highly flammable.

G) Handling and Storage (normal use)

  • When coated with silicone avoid contact with eyes.
  • Store rubber products away from direct sunlight, strong artificial light, radiation and ozone.

  • Hand protection can be used during handling and assembly.

  • Conditions to avoid: None known
  • Materials to avoid: Strong oxidizing agents
  • Hazardous decomposition: On burning lubricant produces carbon and silicone oxides, rubber produces dense smoke containing toxic gases.

  • The silicone coating may produce irritation to the eye and to a lesser extent the skin.

  • Send to approved landfill.
